I had an issue today where I had to cut water to the house.

Customer Question

hi. I had an issue today where I had to cut water to the house.
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: It was just today for a few minutes. I made a mistake removing faucet handles. i damaged the stem and water was shooting everywhere. It was hot water, so i went to the water heater to close the valve I also turned the temperature knob to Vacation Mode. I dont know why, i was in a panic and not thinking clearly
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: So I got the leak stopped and put in new stems so the tub faucets arent leaking anymore. I turned the water on to the house, and turned on the cold water supply and hot water line valves at the water heater. and turned the temperature back to the normal setting. but i dot have hot water dont have hot water. yes I am trying to get the heater working again myself I didnt touch the on/off/pilot knob, but i dont hear any water going in/out, or the heaeter running what can you tell me?
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: i dont thnk so
