Trying to take apart my Grohe shower thermostatic valve

Customer Question

Trying to take apart my Grohe shower thermostatic valve which is broken. The lever that turns on the water is not working. It does not have a set screw to loosen/take apart. Not sure how to take it off.
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: Getting worse over several weeks.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: I would like to try and purchase a new Grohe thermostatic valve.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Plumber about your situation and then connect you two.
