Hello my name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! I need a model number and if you can picture of the gas valve.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

ECO18oDBN..a tankless heater...error codes are 11, E1 if I hold done the two arrows on remote thermostat

Expert:  WCohn replied 1 year ago.

Error code 11 is no ignition. Meaning its not even lighting or if it is lighting the flame sensor is not recognizing the flame. Try turning on hot water while standing in front of the water heater. See if there is any flame at all and can you hear the spark clicking?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

no..I can't.

I do get a flashing red LED,

fan doesn't even start..

have line voltage to unit

Expert:  WCohn replied 1 year ago.

Do you have shut of valves right below the unit?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

yes I do

Expert:  WCohn replied 1 year ago.
  1. Shut off the cold going in
  2. Open up all the HOT faucets in your house
  3. Then open up the relief valve on the water heater (we want to drain the hot side of the entire system)
  4. Then close the relief valve once it stops dripping
  5. The all at once open the cold valve feeding the heater

We are trying to break free the flow sensor. If you are running water and the fan isn't come on then it most likely is a flow sensor issue. If this doesn't work you'll need to replace the flow sensor.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Expert:  WCohn replied 1 year ago.

Excellent! I'm glad I was able to help you out. I'd appreciate a positive rating and tips are always welcome. I'd also order an extra flow sensor for future use. They are expensive.

Expert:  WCohn replied 1 year ago.

Sorry that should say they aren't expensive
