I have a Grohe duo red faucet with a broken pull and turn Childlock

Customer Question

I have a Grohe duo red faucet with a broken pull and turn Childlock handle for the boiling water function. Can this be replaced. Grohe does not seem to list a replacement part on their exploded PDFs file of the faucet. What can I do?

It sounds to me like you are not the only one having an issue with this item breaking. It also appears to be unavailable from a parts list. However I did see you were in New Zealand, so I have GROHE's New Zealand information for you. I would contact them and lat them know it is a danger to not have this part as soon as possible. Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately this has not brought me any further and I was intending to contact Grohe Germany directly. I apologize but I cannot rate your answer as being helpful.

I understand, however just because I have no answer other than yours does not mean another answer exists. I will close this question and opt out. This will allow another expert to take a shot at it. Best of luck.
