When we remodeled the hot water heater didn't get hooked up

Customer Question

When we remodeled the hot water heater didn't get hooked up to the generator. There is a heat vent from electrical panel over to garage where the main switch is located. Would it be at all possible to run a 12 gauge wire thru the heat vent? It would be a huge job to go any other way. Thank you

Hi i am dan I can help you with this. To put it simply no you can not run any wires in a duct. Would going on the outside of the house be an option?
