Customer Question

We had 3- v53 exterior gas water heater installed ,in parallel, at our home just one month ago. They replaced 3-75 gal tank water heater system. We are not getting the hot water being delivered to any areas of the house in a timely manor. Delivery durations lags from 1 to 5 min and sometimes even longer. The plumbing company that did the installation will not take any responsibility for their installation and refuses to address the issue. This situation did not exist with the original system which would conclude that the problem is outside the building.
Some insight to the installation to help you understand the installation and assist us with a resolution to our problem:
1. inlet from the city 1.5" dia. cold water (CW)
2. Then 1.5" CW was reduced to single 0.75" CW
3. Then 0.75" CW was branched into three separate tees of 0.75" CW to feed each of the three v53 units
4. Hot water outlets from the three units, the three 0.75" HW outlets were joined into a single 0.75"HW towards the house feed
5. Then the single 0.75"HW line then was expanded to feed three 1.0"HW lines that feed the entire house
I hope that this explanation will assist you in formulating a solution to our Hot water issues.

Sounds like you had a recirculation system with your old tanks but you don't now. Even if that wasn't the case a re-circ system is probably your best/only solution.
