i have water coming out from under my washer, looking around for some ideas on root cause and repair

Hi, I'm Mike and I have 20+ years of experience as a plumber. I'll be glad to assist you today. There could be a crack in the fill valve. The part that the hoses connect to. It is plastic and when the valve fails it can crack and leak when it is turned on. You would have to do a little bit of surgery to find out but it is the most likely cause. The valve is very easy to replace also.
