The pilot light appears to have gone out on the water heat

Have you tried re0lighting it? or does it have an exhaust fan on top of tank?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Apparently this water heater (which is new to me as we have recently moved into this house) does not have a pilot light as it is electronically driven. After switching the electrics on and off again the heater broke into life again - so problem solved itself. I will get a local gas plumber to look at the device later. Apologies for delay in replying and thanks for your response but all is now well.
