I have a 325 gallon water storage tank that is full

Customer Question

Hi -
I have a 325 gallon water storage tank that is full of water. I need a small pump that can create pressure to a regular garden hose for washing cars and similar. The tank is 4' above ground but the gravity doesn't create enough pressure. What can I use? Preferrably something east to get at a place like home depot?

just to confirm, will this generate decent pressure on the output side.

It's rated to pump a 120' head (120' vertically). Since it takes 1 psi to overcome every 2.2' of head the specs implies that with no head the pump should put out about 55 psi. That's as good as you're going to get unless you want to put a well pump or booster pump on the tank for a lot more money.
