VerifiedPlastic Surgeon : Thank you for your question. That swelling would be very unusual to be from botox but anything is possible. You should finish the cleocin since you have only been on it for 3-4 days. This area should improve with the cleocin. An exam by another board certified plastic surgeon should be performed a day or two after you have finished the cleocin. I am available if you have more questions.
If the area is still there after your cleocin, you should have an ultrasound of the area. You may also want to try a low dose Benadryl to see if this could be an allergic response. This should be cleared by your regular doctor. It is always much better in a picture to be able to see both sides of the face similar to an exam. You may need to see a doctor who specializes in infectious disease if this persists.
