Thanks for your question. The best way to loose fat tissue is to diet and exercise. This is tough to do in most people. If you are relatively young ( perhaps under age 40 years), the suction of fat, occasionally with a laser treatment internally, such as "Velashape", can reshape any fat collection around the waist. This treatment may not bring your expectations if you have loose skin or are older than 40. I recommend evaluation by an experienced, board certified plastic surgeon. Make sure you understand the nature of the surgery, what you should expect in the way of results, and any risks involved. Good luck!

Laser liposuction removes the fatty tissue as the surgeon is performing it. Velaslhape takes time for you to see a result. You should have a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is familiar with both techniques so he can tell you what is best for your anatomy.
