I will do everything I can to help you with your question. I believe this is what is going on..Here is what is happening. The telephone providers also providing voice mail service for an additional charge. The problem (maybe as some sort of an advertisement) is they put it on every line even if you do not ask for it. When there equipment records a message it shows up on your telephone by showing "voice mail Msg" the way to clear that is push and hold the (#) key for about 10 seconds when you hear a beep it should clear. The problem is it will continue to come back and you will need to clear it from time to time. The only way to stop this inconvenience is to contact your telephone provider and have them remove there answering machine from your line.
