Registering a handset to the base unit
The supplied handset and base unit are
pre-registered. If for some reason the handset
is not registered to the base unit, re-register
the handset.
1 On handset:click (MENU) (#)(1)(3)(0)
2 On Base unit: Press and hold(LOCATOR)for about 5 seconds.
If all registered handsets start ringing, press (LOCATOR)again to stop,
then repeat this step.
3 Handset: Press (OK), then wait until a long beep sounds
If you have even one phone that did register, and you have rebooted the equipment, and you are still getting "check telephone line" I would contact your telephone provider and report a trouble on your line. At this point you have done everything you can do from your end. They need to check there line and there equipment.
