We recently purchased a Panasonic KX-TGA652 (# on bottom of handset) Digital Cordless Answering system with two handsets.
I want to add 2 additional handsets.
QUESTION: Is it possible to add handsets from an older Panasonic system KX-TGEA20 (# on bottom of handset)

The KX-TGA652 handsets are only designed to work with the KX-TG6541 series of phones... I doubt the KX-TGEA20 (which is actually a newer handset) will work on them and vice-versa. If you already have the handsets, you could try it by seeing if they will pair to the base.

To register a handset on a Panasonic phone:

Press [MENU] [#][1][3][0]
On the base unit, press and hold the [LOCATOR] button for about 5 seconds. You should hear a "registration" tone. If the all registered handsets start ringing, press the [LOCATOR] button to stop the beeping, then repeat this step.
On the handset you want to register, you should see a message about registration.
Press [OK] then wait for a long beep to sound. The handset should be registered.

However, even if the base is able to register the other handsets, they may not work fully or properly.
