Initially and to avoid asking you to do something you've already tried, can you please tell me what / any and all troubleshooting / specific steps you've already attempted other than / to address the above....+ with as much background information.
Let's try again:
- ensure base/main unit's ANSWER ON/OFF is engaged;
- use 1 of the handsets;
- press OFF.
- press MENU;
- press # 3 0 2;
- use ▲▼ to highlight Yes;
- press SELECT;
- wait for the beep;
- after a beep sounds. hold the handset about 20cms (8 inches) away and speak clearly into the microphone (2 minutes max.);
- speak/record your personal message;
- press STOP;
- press OFF.
