Sorry to hear of any issue with your phone(s).
To help with this issue, may I ask:
1) The FULL Make and Model Number of the phone SYSTEM you are working with? If this is a cordless system, that model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the LARGER MAIN base (not a cordless handset or charger).
2) How many TOTAL cordless handsets do you have with this system, and if more than one, do ALL handsets have this issue?

Hi again and thanks for that information.
That symbol (bell with light through it) indicates that the "ringer" for that particular handset has been switched off.
To turn the ringer back on, try pressing and HOLDING the ZERO key - until the unit "beeps". The symbol should then go away and the handset should ring for incoming calls. See attached IMAGE for that feature by clicking the LONG LINK below.
