Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
I'm Greg and will do my best to assist with troubleshooting this issue today.
To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) I see that this is a "link-to-cell" system, so are ANY cell phones linked to this system AND did this loud call come in via a cell phone?

Please REPLY using the box below and the SEND button.

*** IMPORTANT NOTE: *** ANY requests for "additional services" (such as a phone call) are OPTIONAL and sent BY THE SITE AUTOMATICALLY (and not me), and I am NOT available by phone at the moment.
Please DECLINE (close) any such offers, and continue in this text/chat form.
Thanks

Well?

OK - very good.

I believe the feature you are looking to turn OFF is called "Talking Caller ID".

To turn that off (or on), please do the following steps at the handset that is announcing the caller - while the system is NOT on a call.

Pick up handset and press MENU, followed by #162 (pound-one-six-two).

Use the UP/DOWN arrows to highlight "Off".

Press the SAVE soft key (button below display).

Press the OFF button (to exit programming).

Please give that a try and then have someone call - to TEST if the function has been turned OFF.

Then if needed, repeat the process for any handset you want to turn off this feature.

Let me know what happens.

Thanks, ***** *****
