I have a Vtech cordless phone model number CS6529-4 . When I call or someone calls me I can hear them but they cant hear me. Whats up?

Technician's Assistant: When did this sound problem start with your CS6529-4 system?

I have tried disconnecting the power and then reconnecting after a few minutes - this did not work

3) Do you have ANY other devices/phones (NOT part of the Vtech system) attached to this same phone line and if so, are they working properly?

It happens on all calls in and out.
Our provider is Comcast.
No we do not have phones on this line. We do have our internet and TV on this line and they are working as they should

Thanks for that information.

May I ask if you have a piece of equipment from Comcast - such as a "MAIN BOX" (sometimes called a modem), with lots of lights on the front and several cables connected in the back?

And if so, is one of the lights label "PHONE" (or PHONE 1) and if so, what is that light doing (ON, FLASHING, etc.)?
