I purchased a Panasonic cordless phone, model number KS-TGC382C. My previous phone had talking caller ID. Can I enable this feature on my new phone?

I purchased the new phone on Sept 28, 2017.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

I haven't tried anything.

There are a number of them, but they are not necessarily available in Canada.

Also, if you have a base unit, perhaps all you need is a cordless handset that is compatible with that base unit, which would provide Talking Caller ID ?

But regardless of that, here's one of many examples of handsets - without base unit, but with the compatible base unit models listed on the page - that has Talking Caller ID as a feature:

...and there are others too. Let me know on the other issues I mentioned, and I will find appropriate headsets.

It's not a problem: your question simply stated, you need Talking Caller ID from a phone model that does not have that capability. I have offered to find another phone model that would. Would you like me to continue with that approach? or shall I close the case?
