We have been hit...

We have been hit by Irma in the Fl Keys...have just got power and internet back, and calls are coming in on the cisco 303, but I can't dial out and get through. The red bar is on on top of the phone...how do I turn that off...that may be the problem?

Technician's Assistant: How much experience do you have with this particular Cisco product?

I'm not terrible computer literate...73....but can follow directions...lol

Technician's Assistant: What happened right before this popped up?

Not really sure...We had just connected a new keyboard to my computer, as the other one died in the storm....I have been getting calls in, but can't dial out - - but if I do - people see that I'm dialing and call back....I know somehow I have to disengage the red bar .....

Technician's Assistant: What troubleshooting have you tried?

Nothing yet ....afraid to push more buttons and make it worse...so googled support..
