Repeated and rapid-fire robo-calling...

Repeated and rapid-fire robo-calling into different lines on KX-TAW848. Calls appear to be intended to disrupt my business, no message or response when we pick up on any of these calls. The robo-caller also appears to have been able to call into PBX, then access other lines from within PBX(!), in spite of fact that two lines are from Comcast, and two are ATT wireline.

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

Sorry, browser froze up; after discussion with Comcast turned on anonymous call blocking (*77) and selective call blocking (*67). Also had Comcast reset Comcast modem. Comcast technician suggested this might additionally require one of two solutions: install screening voicemail in front of these lines on all calls, and/or have a certified Panasonic technician configure a firewall on the PBX

Simply that this is an urgent problem--we have had to disconnect all phone lines because the system rings incessantly on 2-3 second intervals from robocalls, and the phone system is therefore not usable

SF Bay (Peninsula). Initially installed by technician as subcontractor to comm systems contractor. Yes, will engage qualified technician to install PBX-based firewall, if you agree this is the best response to this problem?

Yes, you definitely need a firewall if you don't already have one, and setting up call screening is always best practice.
