Have you tried restarting the entire system by powering it off and on again?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
i did
Expert:  Pete replied 1 month ago.

Ok, then the slave card has likely failed and will need to be replaced.

What is the status of the lights on it?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
All the extensions work on the slave except those 8 not ringing and the other having static. So if it was the interconnection card the slave would not work at all.The card has no lights on it.

Ok, so the slave card does have a fault and will need to be replaced.
