To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) What NEW phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?
2) What exactly happens NOW - when you get a call that you don't answer? For example, does the call ring endlessly, or does the ringing stop after a certain number of rings?
3) Do you have access to a different phone - such as a cell phone - that can be used to place a TEST CALL to the landline number - to find out what callers hear when calling that number?
