Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

I'm Greg and will do my best to assist you in troubleshooting and isolating this issue today.

Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) The FULL Model Number of the phone system you are working with? Since this is a cordless system, that model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the MAIN base unit (model should start with KX-TG).

2) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line NOW?

3) When you say "leave my voice message", does the refer to a "greeting" for callers to hear - and leave a message?

Please REPLY using the box below and the SEND button.
*** IMPORTANT NOTE: ***
If you see ANY requests for "additional services" - such as a phone call - please understand that these are OPTIONAL and sent BY THE SITE AUTOMATICALLY (and not me), and I am NOT available by phone at the moment. Feel free to DECLINE (close) any such offers, and continue in this text/chat form.

Thanks

OK - let me look that up and get back to you in a few minutes.

Do you have the phone set up and connected to the new provider's line now, and can try the steps I send you?

Hi again,

As mentioned earlier: ANY requests for "additional services" - such as a phone call - please understand that these are OPTIONAL and sent BY THE SITE AUTOMATICALLY (and not me),

I have a link to a video that shows the steps to record your own greeting.

Please take a look and try the same steps - and let me know if that works for you.

Let me know your results.

Once you have successfully recorded your own greeting (and heard it played it back), it is recommended that the system be TESTED.

The easiest TEST is to:

1) Make sure the answering system is ON (Check indicator on MAIN BASE).

2) Place a TEST CALL from an outside line (cell phone, neighbor's phone, etc.)

3) Allow enough rings for the Answering system to pick up.

4) Listen for your newly recorded greeting, and TRY to leave a TEST MESSAGE.

5) Hang up

6) CHECK the main base unit - to see if the TEST MESSAGE can be played back successfully.

Let me know if you can do this AND the results.

Hi again,

I see it has been a few days and I haven't seen a response on this page, so I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue OR if the issue was resolved?

I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.

Thanks, ***** *****
