To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) Can you CONFIRM that callers can NOT leave a message AND that your personal greeting (your voice?) can be heard by the callers?
2) Did you receive a FULL manual with this system, or just a "quick start guide"?

Hi again and thanks for that confirmation.
OK - if you have the same manual page numbering as I do, and look at page 14 - under the sub-title "Base unit display item", you should see the go display details - meaning that the answering system is set to "Greeting only", and a pager reference to where that is set (page 46 in my manual.
Turing to page 46, look at the section that says "Caller's recording time", and you should see the steps to SET that to 1 min or 3 min - so that callers can actually leave a message.
Please let me know if you can find those sections of the manual AND try to change that setting to 1 min or 3 min - and make the "go" display go away.
