My phone lost the answering machine part so I reentered it.

My phone lost the answering machine part so I reentered it. )(#327)nd it came back. However, it came with an echo when someone is leaving a message. I can't find anything in the Owner's Manual to correct this problem. Any Ideas? Harriet
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: KX_TG7731. It has six phones.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Other than the fact that it stopped work and I received no call. I shut the Answering OFF and called from another phone. I had two voice mails at the same time. There shouldn't have been any answering because it was off.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of?
