We are kinda going cazy with the Vtech phones. I think they are 5- yess old and suddenly all we ca get is a flashing red signal in the base station that seems to indicate that one phone id in use[ which it is not]. We cannot make any out or inbound calls and there is no dial tone.We have been through the Troubleshooting part of the User Manual carefully and cannot find any description that replicates our situation , HELP!
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: probably 5 years as I said.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have been trying various "solutions" for 2 days. I have read the Troubleshooting section many times
JA: Anything else you want the phone expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: We just need our dial tone and to be able to receive calls

May I have the full model # of your phone system, it should be on the rear or bottom of the base and on the cover of the user manual.
