I have a vtech phone system involving a base station and 2

Customer Question

I have a vtech phone system involving a base station and 2 other handsets dotted around my house. One of the 2 outlying phones comes up with an 'Out of Range' message no matter what base it is on. Any advice would be welcome.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: Its a vtech 15250
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Been going on for 5 days following me moving the 'out station' to a different bedroom I started using following hospitalisation.
JA: Anything else you want the phone expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Troubleshooting? I have moved the offending hand piece to the other two bases and get the same message - 'Out of Range'

Hi there and welcome

Can you please remove the power to the base unit, and the batteries from the problem handset

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power to the handset, put the batteries back in the handset and tell me if it now functions please.
