We have model KX-TGE260. We do not have any messages on our phones but the handset continues to blink that we have a message. We have disconnected the unit and the receivers and put them back to no avail.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: Panasonic Bluetooth KX-TGE260
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: We disconnected the unit and plugged it back in. We also removed the batteries from the handsets and put them back in. We have sent a message and then erased it. But we still get the blinking.
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?

2) WHEN did this issue first begin, or was noticed?

OK - can you do a quick TEST for me?

That TEST is to pick up any cordless handset of the system, press the TALK button, and QUICKLY listen for the dial tone.

Please let me know what you hear when you do that.

Possible results:

- A clear dial tone.

- a few "beeps" - then a clear dial tone.

- a few "pulsed" dial tones, then a clear dial tone.
