I have a panasonic kx-tga652 with 3 handsets. My wife says

Customer Question

I have a panasonic kx-tga652 with 3 handsets. My wife says that when we got a voicemail, the phone in her office would blink a light, notifying her of a new message. I get the voicemail by email, so I never noticed a light on my phone, so I can't corroborate her testimony. But, she says the light doesn't go on any more so she wants to get a new phone. Should a light blink when there's a new voicemail? If so, it isn't, so how do we get that back?
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: panasonic kx-tga652 home telephone with 3 handsets.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: for awhile the new message light notification has not worked. Troubleshooting included going through the menu on the phone. I didn't find anything helpful.
JA: Anything else you want the phone expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

I'm Greg and will do my best to assist you today.

Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) The FULL Model Number of the phone system you are working with? Since this is a cordless system, that model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the MAIN base and START with KX-TG, and then be followed by a 4-digit number.

2) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?

3) Is this the SAME system that "used to flash" - when a new message was left?

This website was misleading, it made it sound like it was only $5, now I see it's more like at least $26. Never mind, I figured it out myself. Thanks. bye.

Very good - I'm glad you figured it out.

Please let us know if you have any more questions about your phone system.
