I have a panasonic cordless phone Model KX-TGE475. It accidentally got turned on to a cell phone and everytime I try to make a landline call, the phone cuts off. what do I do to get landline only

Initially, have you tried "unpairing" the cellular phone to the base unit?

I did do that. When cell#2 came up i tried usung te arroy key and it said SAVED

Starting with the OFF Ipressed the numbers 6112. Brought up the CELL#2 and pressed select Then trying to use the arrow key to YES it said SAVED

Maybe I had just be better off to return it to the store I bought it from and let them figure it out. All I wanted to do was to use it like a regular telephone. Instead I got a gadget that is so complicated it takes a technician to get it right.

Roy after the OFF was first pressed, was MENU then pressed and then the # and then the 6 1 1 2 ? ...and even with the 6 1 1 1

I pressed the off button and waited a moment. Then pressed the menu button and then entered the #6112. Then I used the arrow key to the BLUERAY. Hit the select button until I got [email protected] Hit select and then tried using the arrow key and it jumped to saved.

Do you suppose after I got the CELL#2 up, I should have hit the OFF button?

Sorry but no; arrow buttons first to go to Yes and then the SELECT button...then the OFF button (again).

There is no way to get to YES after the CELL #

Let's give a final try; reset/re-boot the phone.

  • MENU;
  • #;
  • 1 5 7
  • ▼/▲: Off;
  • SELECT;▲/▼: Yes;
  • OFF.

Allow the base to reboot itself for a minute or so.

Something just isn't right with this unit.. I had better take it back and get another not quite so complicated.

Perhaps a mix up in which/what buttons. Review / re-do:

  • OFF button;
  • MENU;
  • #;
  • 1 5 7
  • ▼/▲: to choose Off;
  • SELECT:▲/▼: Yes;
  • OFF button.

If still not corrective, then it would be to your advantage as you earlier posted, "...return it to the store..."

I understand this is not what you are hoping to hear, and I'm sorry but I don't have better news.

I realize that the above post may perhaps be not what was expected. It would appear that there is no quick-n-easy fix and neither is there a workaround; again sorry for having to be the bearer of bad news.
