Customer Question

I have the kx-tg7871 model. It is very noisy. Do I need to replace the batteries in the handset?
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: KX-TG7871. Not very old.
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have called att and they say nothing is wrong with the landline.
JA: Anything else you want the phone expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: It is very noisy on my end. The person on the other end tells me that the static is not as bad as my end.

Hi there and welcome

Can you please remove the power cable to the base station and the batteries from the handset.

Wait 10 minutes, then connect the power to the base station and the batteries in the handset and tell me if it now works correctly please.
