Hello & Welcome,

Sorry to hear of any issue you may be having with your phone.

I believe the "feature" you are referring to is called "Talking Caller ID".

To turn this feature OFF, you can do the following steps.

While the handset is not in use (not on a call):

1) Pick up the handset and press MENU # 1 6 2

2) Use the DOWN arrow to highlight OFF.

3) Press the SAVE soft key (button below the word SAVE).

4) Press the OFF key.

That should do it. NOTE: This will need to be done on EACH handset you want to silence.

As a reference, I have a link to a video that shows how this is done on a similar system. The handset shown in the video may not match your handsets exactly, but the steps are the same.

Click Here -->

Please give those steps a try and let me know if you have any trouble with this setting.

If this has answered your question(s), please take a moment to rate MY service level (5-star is my goal) so that I get credit for my time helping you with this question.

You should see some "stars" to do that, but please let me know if you do NOT see them (you may have to scroll UP or DOWN) or can not use them.

Thanks, ***** *****
