We have a two handset phone system in our charity office, model KX -TGA402. No matter what we do we cannot get any sound out of the handset 2. we have tried setting the volume to high and ring tone and nothing works. The phone is not beeping when you take it from the base station or press any of the buttons. We have an additional problem where it says 'New Voice mail' and we cannot find a way to delete this from the phone display. Please can you help ?

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) The FULL Model Number of the phone system you are working with? Since this is a cordless system, that model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the main base unit and START with KX-TG, but have no "A" (which is for the cordless handsets/chargers only).

2) How many TOTAL cordless handsets do you have with this system?

3) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?

4) WHEN did these issue first appear, or were noticed?

OK - may I ask

1) the AGE of this system? and

2) IF the batteries in the handsets have EVER been replaced?

3) Does the handset that does NOT ring still work properly - when using the earpiece (receiver) to communicate on a call?
