Hello & Welcome,

Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.

I'm a little unclear about the "voice mail" you mentioned, so may I ask:

1) Where are you seeing or hearing anything about "voice mail"?

2) How many TOTAL cordless handsets do you have with this system?

3) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
On phone screen it says voice mail, push talk button, vice mail button, get static, hang up and get line in use message

2cordless phones and one wall phone

OK - thanks for that description. From all that, it sounds like your phone service is having a problem.

So can you tell me if the "wall phone" is part of the Vtech cordless system OR is it a SEPARATE phone - connected at a DIFFERENT PHONE JACK or in a different room?

And does the WALL PHONE allow you to hear a dial tone - and make calls?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The wall phone is on a different jack but still has static. The message on cordless is "phone in use" and voice mail message alert is on screen (we do not have voicemail). Pick up any of three phones and lines are open with only static and pressing off does nothing.

OK - thanks for that information.

What these symptoms tell us - especially the STATIC - is that the phone SERVICE is NOT working. So you can pretty much ignore anything about "voice mail" that you may see on the screens of the handsets, as that is just another INDICATOR that the phone line is not working.

So may I ask if you have had ANY "weather events" in your area recently - about the same time this started?

Also, do you have access to a DIFFERENT PHONE LINE (such as a cell phone or neighbor/friend's phone)?

I only ask because the next step would be to call your provider's "technical support" folks and report this issue.

Please let me know.

Thanks, ***** *****
