Ask a Phone Systems Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.
To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) The Model Number of the phone system you are working with? That model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the main base unit and START with KX-TG (but have no "A" - which is for a cordless handset).
2) How many TOTAL cordless handsets do you have with this system?
3) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?
The KX-TGDA20 is the model for one of the cordless HANDSETS & charger.
Please look at the MAIN BASE UNIT - the LARGER base that connects to the phone cord - and see if you can find a model number there.
Typical model number format is KX-TGD222, or something like that.
If the system has a built-in Answering system, the MAIN base unit will have buttons to play any messages in that system.
Hi again. I see your phone call request, but don't have an available phone line right this minute to do a call. I may have a line in a few minutes.
We can continue here in this format, or I can try to see if another expert can call you. Please let me know what you would like to do.
While waiting for my line to become available, may I ask:
Are these VM messages stored:
a) in a built-in Answering System of your Panasonic system OR
b) in a "Voice Mail System from your provider (AT&T in this case)?
Also, are you getting any notices that the message system is "full", or anything like that?
I have a phone line becoming available soon.
May I ask your first name or what you would like to be called - when I place the call?
I'm Greg - by the way.
I just tried to accept your phone call request, but the system is telling me that is a "payment failure" on your side of the system.
We can continue here in this format if you would like, or try to clear that failure.
Please let me know what you would like to do now.
I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved?
I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.
Thanks, ***** *****--. .-(im)
