Customer Question

My handset shows "zzz" & the words "handset 2" which it has never done before. What do the z's mean? And how do I get back to the screen where it doesn't show "handset 2" all the time?

Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) The FULL Model Number of the phone system you are working with? That model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the main base unit and START with KX-TG.
2) How many TOTAL cordless handsets do you have with this system?
3) Do you still have the operation manual for this system?

Thanks

KX-TG6572R. 2 cordless handsets. No manual. Handset 1 doesn't show any info as is shown on handset 2.

Hi again,

I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved?

As a reference, I have a link to the full manual for this system below - in electronic (PDF) version - and if you look at page 29 of that manual you will find the steps for turning on or off Silent Mode.

ftp://ftp.panasonic.com/telephone/om/kx-tg6511_mul_om.pdf

I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.

Thanks, ***** *****
