Ask a Phone Systems Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your phones.
To help you with this issue, may I ask:
1) The Make & Model Number of the phone system you are working with? If this is a cordless system. that model should be printed on a sticker on the bottom or back of the main base unit of the system.
2) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?
That was going to be my next question - which is:
Do you KNOW if the call is being blocked by the provider OR the phone system?
But I will let you know that the KX-TGF370 system DOES have a call blocking capability.
And when a blocked call comes in, it is USUALLY "marked" in the Caller List - with symbol (icon) with a "slashed arrow" pointing at a "receiver".
So do you know how to look at the Caller list and check for that icon?
OK - do you have ANY OTHER calls blocked - that you want to keep?
OK - let me give you the steps to erase a SINGLE number from the list, as an attached image (you may have to click on the image name to see it).
These instructions SHOULD be in the manual you have, but I have HIGHLIGHTED (in yellow) the STEPS you need to take to ERASE the number. I do this because sometimes the instructions in the manual are hard to interpret.
Please give these steps a try and let me know if that works for you. I have other instructions for erasing ALL blocked numbers, and can send them if needed.
Thanks, ***** *****
I see it has been a few days and I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue or if the issue was resolved?
I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.
