Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of the issue you are having.
If you still need help, may I ask:
1) The AGE of this new system, and WHEN this issue first began?
2) What phone service provider (phone company) you have for this phone line?
3) If you have ANY other devices (phones, fax, alarm system, etc.) attached to this same phone line?
4) What exactly DOES happen - when someone from outside tries to call?
5) Do you have access to another phone line (cell phone, neighbor, etc) that you can test with?
Thanks

Hi Greg, actually the phone just fixed itself - I have no idea why. Thanks, christy

Hi Christy,
If you can explain WHAT WAS happening, perhaps we can figure out WHY it happened - in case it happens again in the future.
But if not, I will tell you that issues where I hear "it fixed itself" are usually related to the SERVICE more than the phone itself. So that is where I would start - if this happens again.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Take Care, Greg A.
