If you only take it as needed for PVCs then you won't need to taper, titrate or worry about not stopping it abruptly. That is only of you take it daily and have been on it for years. In that case, it needs to be stopped slowly to avoid BP going up too high. It's very safe and effective medication and commonly used. Hope this helps.
