Can Prednisone 5 mg tablets cause rapid heart rate?

I have been prescribed prednisone 5 mg tablets and Celebrex 200 mg capsules, taken for two days, but having rapid heart beat, night sweats and anxiety attacks,, usually it is my understanding taking this after two weeks might cause these problems, however, at 82 years old, I am concerned of Heart attach, stroke, hight blood pressure, which i do not have now, I am border line hypocemic. Should these drugs be prescribed together for someone of my age? Also was given tow shots of cortisone. I will be calling my doctor in am, in meantime, what other drugs could help with arthritis without all these terrible side effects?

I don't take pill ! only an alprazolam, .05mg on occasion, and an over the counter meltonin 10 mg. I have been blessed up to this year with not requiring any drugs for my health other than antibiotic when I get the flu. I now have arthritis and is has become quite painful and preventing me for doing my normal tasks around the house, plus I pulled a muscle in the back of my knee, which is extremely painful. The things the doctor did releave my pain for two days and it is wonderful, however, don't like all these side effects

He has known me for 16 years. He knows I am allergic to sulfa, morphine and codine, plus the solution they give for MRI's, all make me extremely sick to my stomach or with the sulfa, when I was in my 20's had a bladder infection was given this script, broke out with welts all over my face. He is aware of all to this.
