VerifiedHi! You are speaking with Dr Jonathan. Sorry to hear you have the flu. You are correct that the recommendation is to not take Tamiflu within 14 days of a flu vaccine. However, based on your timing, it has been more than 14 days. Also, the flu vaccine that is administered now is not an active virus, so the recommendation is a bit outdated. However, if you have been diagnosed with active flu infection, you should continue taking the Tamiflu as directed until all doses are complete. Hope that helps.
