VerifiedHi this is Dr. Rollins if the trazodone is just sedating you but not reaching your goal for treatment of sleeping then I would suggest discontinuing it and trying the Unisom.

You can safely take trazodone and temazepam or trazodone and unisom. Xanax does not have a long half life so it is not very effective for sleep.
