Hi! What medication are you referring to? That would determine the time length for which a script is good for.

all my scrips my perscrip. plan just went from 3 dollars to 25 dollars per scrip

Oh, I see. Your doctor can write to dispense as much as you'd like for up to a year on non-controlled substances. Your insurance determines how much can actually be covered at one time, however. Most prescription drug plans have limits of 90 days, but if your plan allows 6 months at a time, your physician can certainly write to dispense that much.
