I have trouble sleeping. I would like to try melatonin (not sure of the dosage to take). What pharmacy grade brand of melatonin would you recommend. Thanks for your assistance. Dose varies from 1.5 to 3 mg ORALLY at bedtime. If no relief, then increase to immediate-release, 5 mg ORALLY 30 minutes prior to time of sleep up to 10 mg ORALLY daily

If that does not help, consider Valerian or Unisom (OTC)

Any luck with Melatonin? I have insomnia myself and totally understand the pain of not being able to get some sleep.
