VerifiedHello! Thanks for requesting me:) Low magnesium is a pretty common problem and can cause the symptoms your are describing. If you can have your magnesium tested at some point, please do. Magnesium supplements are not created equal and have varying absorption and side effects. If you want to try a magnesium supplement to see if it can help, I recommend Magnesium glycinate 200 mg twice a day (starting dose). It is one of the best absorbed magnesium formulations with low risk of side effects (like diarrhea) vs other types of Magnesium.
You are welcome! I reviewed the Natural Calm product, which contains 325 mg or 350 mg of Magnesium (depending on which formulation you have) so you can take one serving twice a day. If that doesn't work, you could ask your doctor to order a sleep study. Mouth breathing alone would not likely be the cause of your problem.
