HOW DOES NUCYNTA 50MG COMPARE TO OXYCODONE 30MG

Hello. I would like to help you find an answer.

It is fairly similar to oxycodone.

Nucynta also works on norepinephrine in the brain so it has some other effects and also isn't as potent on the opiate receptor.

it is good for chronic pain though.

IT IS NOT AS STRONG AS OXY 30? WOULD YOU RECOMMEND IT OVER OXYCODONE? I AM A CANCER PATIENT SO I DONT WANT TO GO BACKWARDS.
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 5 years ago.

It's not that its not as strong its just different.

I would recommend you try it if the oxy is no longer working for you.

IS THIS A FORM OF OXYCODONE, OR HYDROCODONE , OR LIKE DILAUDID OR IS IT A MIXTURE OF TWO OR MORE.. WHAT EXACTLY IS IT? THE OXYCODONE WORKS FOR ME BUT IS THIS A BETTER CHOICE IN YOUR EYES??
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 5 years ago.

No, it works completely differently than the oxycodone. It's not even in the same ballpark really.

If the oxycodone is working that is a good choice.

i wouldn't switch.

WHAT EXACTLY IS IT? WHAT WOULD YOU COMPARE IT TO??
Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 5 years ago.

its a combo of an opiate like oxycodone and an anti depressant.

I would compare it to tramadol
