There is no documented drug-herb interaction in the literature regarding this combination. I know you mentioned predinsone makes you sleepy, so taking this in combination with valerian root will increase that effect. So I would recommend that you avoid taking these meds prior to you having to do any critical thinking (driving, work, etc...). The best option would be an hour before bed.
