Hi, I'm Dr. A., thank you for reaching out to just answer today. I am happy to assist. Please give me a few moments to review the information you have provided.

Please be aware I am a licensed veterinarian, but since I am not actually examining your animal, I cannot legally provide you with any specific diagnosis or prescribe medication. I can only speak in general terms about what might be happening and help you determine if/when you need to seek medical attention.

Ok

How long has Loo been vomiting?

Customer

Okay, the weakness could be from hypoglycemia from not being able to keep any food down.

Customer
Ok

Vomiting can be due to several things; dietary indiscretion, GI blockage, gastritis, pancreatitis, liver/kidney disease, intestinal parasites, etc...

I would recommend treating her with Pepcid at 1/2 mg per lb. of body weight every 12 hours and Pepto Bismol at 1/4 ml per lb. of body weight every 8 hours. Feed a bland diet like plain boiled rice and chicken. A good probiotic, such as Purina's Fortiflora, can be useful as well.

If she is not any better by tomorrow or if her condition worsens take her into your veterinarian for an exam.
