First question, is there a cost involved. Cat. His owners
His owners moved & left him behind, the neighbours shuffled him about to keep him fed and try to find a home for him. Eventually I got him, he is very anxious and I can't pick him up, only scratch his head & chin. When he'd had enough he'd put his paws on me and his teeth, but never bit or scratched. A new tom moved into the area who has been attacking him. He was very docile at first, he got scratched on his eye, I bathed it in warm salty water once, and warm water & honey once, after the first time he wouldn't come near me. The second time he bit me and tore up both foot and leg scratching and hissing like a wild animal. All the trust I'd built up with him is gone. He ran away for 2 days and wouldn't come when I called, then mum saw him in the garden cowering and picked him up and brought him inside. I can't get near him and don't know how to get him back. He wants out, but I don't want him out till he's well … read more

What Customers are Saying:

I must tell you I found this site by accident and was amazed when I asked a question of the Veteranians online. I wish I could have found it sooner it could have made such a difference in the outcome of my pet's surgery. However, I am passing along the information to my sister-in-law (a cat-rescue person who is also a nurse), and perhaps it will help someone else who may experience the same problem. The doctor who answered my question was amazing, and while it didn't come it time to change the outcome of my situation, it is reassuring to know the caliber of Vets/Doctors that you have at JustAnswer. Thank you for being there.
